Spirit's Journey: Episode Forty - delivery 

The Story: When Dad gets home from work today, Mom tells him the delivery arrived. Then I don't see Dad again until dinner time. Sometimes we go outside into the backyard while Mom is making dinner, just Dad and me. But today is different. Dad disappears, and I feel a little sad. I look out the window to see if he has gone to the backyard without me, forgotten about me. But I don't see him there. I walk to the kitchen door and peek into the garage. It's quiet, and he isn't there either. So I sit down on the kitchen floor as Mom is cooking, and I start to cry. I have lost my Dad! Mom tells me not to cry as she puts me into my booster seat. Suddenly Dad appears, and he is coming out of my room. Behind him I see something. Before he can get to the table, I climb down and run to him. He picks me up and hugs me, "Did you miss me?" I hug him back, and he turns to show me my new big kid's bed! It's huge, so big I could get lost in that bed. It's nothing like my old crib.
