The Story: After breakfast Mom helps me put on my jacket because we are going outside to the park. I have no idea what the park is, so when we walk passed the edge of the driveway I grab onto her hand. We always get into the car, and this is the first time we are just walking down the street. Even though we are on the sidewalk, it feels like the cars driving by are right next to us. They are so loud and big, I start to cry. Mom stops and kneels down next to me. She wipes my eyes and tells me she will protect me. Then she takes my hand again, and we continue walking. That's when I hear something -the sounds of kids playing. I look over at a playground full of kids, and I get so excited! Mom runs with me to the jungle gym, and I have the best time climbing all over everything.
