The Story: When Mom isn't looking, I sneak into the kitchen and try to open the door leading into the garage. I know Dad is at work, so he isn't in the garage right now. That means he won't tell me its too dangerous for me. I glance back toward the living and listen. It still sounds like Mom is in the shower. So I keep trying the door. The thing is door have knobs, and I am not really good at knobs. So it takes me at least ten minutes to finally get the door open. It's dark in the garage. Dad always turns on a light, but I am not sure where that switch is so I stumble around for a bit until my eyes adjust. There are a lot of weird looking tools an wires in here. In the center of the floor is a wooden box with a lid that is set up in clamps. I stare at it for a while before I hear mom shout my name. "You shouldn't be in the garage! You know better!"
