The Story: This weekend Dad surprises me with a sandbox in the backyard. I have never seen sand before, and this sandbox is full! With some help, I eagerly climb into the sandbox and try to pick up a handful of sand too. It flows and falls through my fingers leaving the strangest feeling to fade moments later. "Wow." Dad chuckles and directs my attention to a red bucket and yellow shovel. I pick up the shovel cause it looks like a very big spoon. Dad has a bucket and shovel too, and he is using the shovel to fill up his bucket. Since I can do it too, I follow his lead. Then he turns his bucket upside down and removes his bucket to leave the sand mound in its wake. Now he has a big hill of sand! And I want to help make it even bigger! For a long time Dad and I build this sand mound, and then he helps to climb to the top! Best Dad Ever!
