The Story: Unfortunately when I wake up this morning, I feel sick. My cheeks are warm, and my throat hurts. Mom checks my temperature, and after the machine beeps she sighs. "I guess playing at the park yesterday introduced you to some new friends, huh?" I don't understand what she means, and really I don't care. I just want to curl up next to her and fall asleep. And for the rest of the day that is what I do, getting up only occasionally for a diaper change or to drink some soup. Why do I have to feel so terrible?
